By way of procrastination I was scouring Pinterest and came across some cute little fairy lamps made from beads. Well, I have lots of beads so off to my stash I go….The glorious thing about these is they need no electricity or batteries - it’s magical! I wish I could get some on a human scale. The mermaids and fairies are delighted. Having magical lighting properties these valuable “lucidite” gems will no doubt play a part in my story… (Lucidite is my invention - so far as I know - and only available in my fairy wonderland!)
Now to the rudimentary side of things. My Princess is going on a journey and will need to have a camp fire on which to cook her food and make tea etc. So Sunday I busted out my glue gun and found a lot of twigs and small stones to create a cute little camp fire for her. It’s 7 inches high. I used wool to make some pretty successful flames and used various acorn cups as cooking pots and dishes. To light it for the photograph I put some orange film in front of a lamp to create that warm glow for the fire. I was thrilled with how it looks - I think Princess Nieva will like it. It will be used in a scene for my story.
